TENWEST offers even more stage time for Tucson comedy! The Tucson Comedy Alliance will be represented in the TENWEST Pavilion of Tucson Meet Yourself. Hosting the pavilion is Local First Tucson, which invited us to participate in a Tucson Trivia and Comedy show from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12. We’ll be promoting the Tucson Comedy Alliance and our TENWEST 86,400 Second Comedy Telethon.
The Tiny Comedy Show comprises Tucson favorites Ali Musa, winner of the Arizona-wide Best Comedian with a Day Job award, Autumn Horvat, producer of Comedians Who Are Not Men; and Butterecoat, winners of Tucson Improv Movement’s annual bracketed 3V3 team competition .
The TENWEST Pavilion is located in the Pima County Library Plaza by the big red sculpture at the corner of Stone and Pennington.
Through an arrangement with the Tucson Comedy Alliance, Local First Tucson regularly showcases Tucson comedians in their monthly Road Show. Local First offered us this ongoing audience development opportunity following a successful comedy show we hosted last spring when the Road Show took place on Toole Ave. from the nightclub 191 Toole to Borderlands Brewery.
Local First Tucson is the local branch of Local First Arizona, which “promotes, supports and celebrates a vibrant and sustainable Arizona economy by educating citizens about local business ownership, social equity, cultural diversity, environmental kinship, and collaboration.
